The El Shaddai Charitable Trust is a registered, non-profit Charity working in Goa and other States of India on behalf of orphans, street children and children coming from economically underprivileged conditions.
El Shaddai run residential homes, day care and community centres where they care for children, providing them with food, clothing, shelter and education, for their better future. In addition to this there is Manna Khana – a food distribution programme, schools in slum areas and a number of other outreach projects.
There are currently six residential homes, each catering for between 50 to 70 children. That’s well over 300 young people that have been rescued from destitution and put on the path to success. And that doesn’t include those that have already grown up and moved on – over the last 25 years over 3,000 children have been helped.
